Faith based volunteers are needed to help immigrants who live in Washington and Canonsburg areas. Compassionate Accompaniment Reflective Experience (CARE) is a program that connects the parish-based volunteers with immigrants and their families who are undocumented or awaiting asylum in the U.S. It is a service of our Social Services Director, Julie Cosentino. Volunteers would provide transportation and support for grocery shopping, visits to doctors, and ICE appointments. Training will be provided for all volunteers. Please come to an information and discussion session on Monday, October 21 from 7-9 pm at the St. Patrick CCD Center, Garden Room. For more information contact Julie at 724-531-0849.
